It's pretty sad I haven't blogged since May but life goes on.
We stayed busy this summer. From Gage being potty trained, Lyla learning to walk and lots of places to visit....it flew by. Like last year, Gage went to summer camp at Trinity. He loved it but struggled a few times when I left him. Its got to be the age.
All in all, we had an awesome summer and a challenging one; Gage is 3, need I say more? I am so, very thankful for my job and having the opportunity to be at home with our kids but LAWD it's not a job for the faint hearted. I am a much better mom when I work during the day and come home to my family...MUCH more patient and fun if I do say so myself. I've said it a million times, being a stay at home mom is THE hardest job in the world. Here is our summer in pictures.
Lyla waiting to get tubes.
Gage practicing on the tee. #help

Lots of games played.
Had a cookout with YaYa, the Horns and Stranbergs.
Just played. I love them together.

Went to Food Truck Friday.
Hung out with our Corvian Friends while Gage was at preschool.
Went to a Knight's Game.

Went out on the boat.
Gage had his first sleepover with Mia.
Went to Tweetsie.
Grandpa Gary came to visit and went with us!
Dressed up like cows and ate a Chic-Fil-A for free.
Visited our new cousin, Finley.
Ate pizza with our friend Bryce!
Watched Airplanes take off at the airport!
Went on the annual Looper beach trip.
Nanny and PawPaw and all the grandbabies.
Love these three.
Visited Meemaw when she had a hip replacement.
Made lots of trips to our neighborhood park.
Learned how to use the potty (at 3.5 years old, don't judge.)
This picture was taken a year ago, little did we know it would be over a year later for reality to set it.
Learned how to walk at 15 months (almost to the day)
I love summer! I love being with my kids. I also love being a working mom. I'm forever grateful to get to enjoy all of those :)
